Selecting the dots of one or several shapes in a scene is a prerequisite for the execution of certain functions linked to the editing of shapes.
Selecting several dots of a shape can be done in two different ways: by pressing on the SHIFT key or by extending a "lasso". The latter method is particularly useful when several dots are located in a same area, for example the dots of a curved portion.
If there are several shapes in the scene, the shape whose dot has just been selected becomes the active shape.
