When two or more shapes have been drawn, it is possible to perform actions involving both (or more) of them. These combinations can help you design unusually shaped work plans, make cuts for credenzas despite the presence of a window and many more features.

Subtracting the active shape from the other shapes

1. Select one of the dots of the shape you wish to cut out to make sure that it is the active shape.

2. Select Shape | Combine | Subtraction or click on the icon.

You must also check that all the shapes turn in a clockwise direction and that they are all either on a horizontal or vertical plan.
